Thanksgiving blessing
Dear Lord
I’m thankful for each day
here, on the top side of the dirt
that my kids aren’t into drugs
but I am… cause I hurt
I’m thankful for each day
with friends that like me as I am
my needs are not many
but I sure could use a man
I’m thankful for each day
and grandchildren, that are healthy
and if you send me a man
make sure he is wealthy
I’m thankful for each day
weather that is sunny
and if I can’t have love
then I want money
