shades of life
dandelions abound
bright yellow
against the
carpeted shades of greens
on my lakefront view
it soothes my troubled soul
springing up unannounced and uninvited
a sight to behold
filling me with such joy and wonder
my son will mow them down
without thought
to this multi-cultural
landscape
co-existing peacefully
without violence
a precious gift of nature
to renew my faith
in these
troubled times
